Nanosphere Vice Coordinator Sofia Svedhem Will Head New Nano Program

Foundation Mistra is starting a nano program focusing on environmental security. The program will be managed from Chalmers and will be named Mistra Environmental Nano Safety, and Nanospheres Sofia Svedhem will coordinate the program.

The program has a budget of 40 million SEK over four years. The consortium behind the winning proposal consists of researchers from Chalmers, University of Gothenburg, Lund University, Karolinska Institute and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Besides Sofia Svedhem Nanosphere-affiliated researchers Martin Hassellöv, Joachim Sturve and Thomas Backhaus have been part of the efforts to develop the program. Read more (in Swedish) >>
